It ain't a matter of being tight Jeff. It's a matter of getting the stuff. If I've got to order it and wait for it then I'll wait till winter and then check what I've got in there again. If I notice it going fast I'll buy the submersible line then, if I don't see it going any faster than what I got from LT, which btw, had gotten pretty soft in two years, then I'll just make it a yearly maintenance thing to change. BTW, I've been in that parking lot with a busted in hose tank (but that was before I knew about the fuel hose issues), so I know the risk. ;)

Scrimp on fuel line if you must but removing your tank and replacing lines in the parking lot of a motel far from home is a PITA. Ask the West Coast Madness guys. Here is a link to the right stuff. $$ but worth it in my opinion.
