Hello party people
I recently had my front brake fluid flushed. However the brake felt spongy afterwards, so I had the tech do it again. Lo and beer hold, there was still some air in the caliper, and now it felt a bit better.
Butt..after two weeks and one ride, it had gone soft again. The front brake that is. So I tried this 'trick' where I zip tied the brake lever so that it was pulled in, and left it for about 24 hours. (No fluid leaks anywhere, fluid level in the reservoir remained the same).
Now the lever is nice and firm again. So, how did doing this fix it? And if indeed it did fix it, is this going to be long term or just temporay?
p.s. bike is a 2003 St4s. 24K miles.
Thanks
Huss
