[DucatiST] New member - Multistrada

 

Hey people,

I'm a new member, having moved across from the Cagiva Gran Canyon group, where I've been for the last few years. I've been riding Ducatis (or derivatives) for years and years, and bought myself a bargain Multistrada here in the UK last week.

Despite the name of the group, I'm wondering if there is any Multistrada wisdom lurking, as I have a few questions...

Both fuel tank related. The fuel gauge tends to show that it needs filling up, although the problem does occasionally go away and the gauge works fine. In the meantime I ride around using the trip counter.

The other problem is I was only able to get the tank about half full yesterday - it was right to the brim, and I tried wiggling the bike around to free any air bubbles. 

Has anyone come across either of these problems, and have any solutions?
