[DucatiST] Re: Brake question AKA why did this (seem) to work?

It should hold up for you Huss.  There was still a tiny bit of air in your system and the pressure you held on it overnight either allowed the bubble to release into the reservoir or dissipate into the fluid more evenly which is why it feels firm now.  Some systems are just hard to bleed, and if you need to do it again at any point.  Pop the top and rubber bladder off the reservoir cover with a breathable material (paper towel) and hold pressure on the lever overnight.  This will allow any excess air bubbles to escape.
