A few weeks back, the neutral light on my 2005 ST3 began to always stay on. I disconnected the lead and the light remained on. I tested from the lead to ground and there is a positive 12 volt connection. Is that correct, or is the lead shorted to a live power source and should not be?

Thanks, Tim

The switch on the back of the engine places ground to the bulb circuit when the bike is in neutral, 12 volts on the lead would be normal. Strange that the light would be on with voltage present on the lead.
