Re: [DucatiST] Re: Electrical gremlin perhaps?

connections are clean and tight, no go.

i swapped the relays, also no success.

now there's still no power after 10+ seconds

what are the symptoms of a blown ECU?

Again, thanks all,

Clean the battery terminals anyway and clean the grounding connections, especially the one with the battery to frame at the frame. Poor grounding is the culprit alot of the time...and goes without saying, use a dielectric grease when you are done at each connection. On the frame, make sure no rust or paint is interferring with the contact area.

I'm unfortunately at a loss here for where to start. This only started in the last week or so, as far as i can tell, and seems to get longer each time.

I'm at a loss for where to start too, but the only thing that I can think of that can act as a capacitor of that magnitude is the battery. Maybe the battery connectors if there's corrosion / poor contact?

I'd attach a charger to the battery terminal connectors and see if that makes the problem go away, and if so, clean the terminals and if that doesn't work, then replace the battery.

But that opinion's worth about half of what you paid for it.
