RE: [DucatiST] the right room minimal ducati content Alfa?

 



Just back after a few days away. It's front wheel drive so not transaxle, 2 litre normally aspirated transverse 4, and while I only play with it I have had no problems beyond the battery going flat when I didn't use it for several weeks.
 
Bonnet is rear hinged. Here's someone else's V6 with the lid open:
 
 
 
Mine's got 122K miles on it so can't have been THAT unreliable! Yes, they have quirks and it's not a Toyota but that's a good thing! :-)
 
Body is galvanised so it hasn't any rust in it. I paid 510 GBP for it.
 
Problems tend to be electrical (surprise!) but there's a good support network and loyal owners love them. Very much like owning a Ducati really....

Nice, the only GTVs I've seen here are from the early 80's before Alfa left the states (GTV-6).
Didn't realize they produced the GTV that long.

Is this a trans-axle car also?
