Yes, the Givi top case mount will work with the ST2 bag mounts.
The top case mount should come with longer bolts that replace the ones
currently holding the bag mounts on. The tabs for the top case mount fit
together with the tabs for the bag mounts and they are both bolted to the
tabs on the frame.
The tricky part is lining everything up and getting the bolts to start
without cross threading them. Some people have reamed out the holes a little
in order to get things to line up. You'll have to approach your set when you
get everything in hand.
You will just need a Givi top case.
Everything will bolt together fine. Well, except for the part about getting
things lined up properly.

I have had that one bookmarked for a couple of months. They haven't
responded to my e-mails and if you try to place an order, you get an error
message stating that their Ducati Ordering is off line.
Unfortunately, it still doesn't answer my basic question - Is this the rack
that fits with the stock bags?

I have found a mounting rack for a top case, but I am having trouble
confirming if it will fit with the Stock Ducati Nonfango saddlebags on the
2002 ST2. I do not want to end up with something that is incompatible.
The part number is 967015STAG.
Can anyone confirm if this is the right part for the job?
