Personally, I like 14/43 on my ST2, and 15/43 on my SS and 999R.

I have been running 15/43 for about 6 years now and it works great for me. Not so great for single riding in the flat lands
but it works great here in the hills with the occasional two up riding with the wife. Its easy on the clutch plates also.
