Hi Michael,
The immobiliser still works fine. I just took it into my Local Ducati dealer and they fitted it and set everything up. Everything works the same as before. Hope its not your ECU but I'm picking it is.

I've got the bike on the bench and I'm doing a thorough check of fueling, electrics, sensors (including the dreaded Crank Position Sensor), and every possible suggestion posted on this forum (it's taken me 2 days to read all the relevant ones!!). I guess that if all of this fails it will leave the ECU. As it's by far the most expensive item, I'm leaving it til last.
When you bought your replacement, what happened to the immobiliser?
