Wow Nate, you've come a long way from a broken frame and case with thoughts of selling it to the present beautiful version. Good on ya for not giving up. Amazing how good the front feels with the Ohlins bits in it. I have the same mod on mine. The 12mm titanium studs I installed to replace the 10mm engine mounts made one hell of a difference in handling also. Think about doing that mod also.
Well hello sir. Been a while since I last posted. I am currently in a hot, sandy, non-riding condusive area of the world for an undisclosed amount of time... YUCK!!
But I did manage to get my ST2 upgraded before I left... Ohlins valves and springs up front to match my rear. And a brand spanking new paint job with decals... Which lasted for one nice mountain trip, and then a friend of mine dropped it.... DOH!!! Back to the paint booth when I return home, god knows when!
Thanks too all for your inputs on the decals and colors.. And I must give a shoutout to Tape works graphics, in North Carolina. They were easy to work with, and even after my own cluelessness landed me in a bind, they took care of the problem in a professional, mostly courteous manner. Thanks for the recomendation Mike!
I have uploaded the only picture I have of the bike after it was finished and before it was dropped :( And a couple links to some pics taken on the dragon's tail... (one trip was before the decals)
