Since the Barber Museum was mentioned…
In 2007 follow liSTer James E and I did a cross-country trip which included both Madness events, a visit to Barber, numerous National Parks (including all 5 in Utah), and many other sites of interest (e.g., Cadillac Ranch, UFO Museum in Roswell, Biltmore Estate.) We did 7k miles in 15 days, including one 1k miles day from Marlinton, WV, to somewhere in Iowa (perhaps Ames.) Here is my Barber Museum photo album from that incredible trip.
