I've been riding a KLR for my commute for a bit over two years now, and it's

A KLR is scary with a 25 MPH cross wind and positively terrifying in a 35 MPH
wind, even on a flat road with effectively no traffic (e.g., I-90 carpool lanes at
10 AM on the Lake Washington bridge here in Seattle.)
I've commuted for years on a 900SS and have never been bothered by those kinds
of cross winds before.
