Well there's no point in me joining as I haven't had a Velocette since about 1973!
Is it a a group about K series (overhead cam) Velocettes? The '60s
desmodromic conversions were for the pushrod engines with the camshaft in the crankcase.
I used to love my Viper and did long distances on it in all weathers.
It was a comfortable bike that looked good and went where you pointed it,
but I could live without the oil leaks and the electrical system
(with the exception of the trusty magneto).
