Jan, Similar to Eddy's explanation. The buttons just fill up with crap and I don't get any movement out of the disc at all even though they are supposed to be "semi floating".
I put a screw extractor tool of the appropriate size in a drill which locks in the hole through the button when driven in reverse. While rotating the button I then spray the button liberally with hot soapy water and on occasion may use degreaser. Give it good clean and spray with water at the end. my rotors then have some movement but it doesn't last long. I am going to pry open the button retaining petals on the back side of the rotors a little to free them up a bit more. Works a treat apparently.
