Sorry, I should have changed the subject the first time round!
Don't panic, it will work out. If you are going to bother to add additional stabilizer, don't forget that you have to run the engine for a few minutes to ensure that it gets down to the injectors etc. That is what you are really trying to protect, not just the gas.
I had a car sit for 2 years with unstabilized fuel and it ran like a top when I started it every couple of months . This is just insurance.

Oh carp!! Blue is what I used and the bikes are already away. Never saw that on the mixing instructions so I guess I`ll go get some regular red and mix that in as well. Hope the injectors are all right in the spring.

This is a reply to a post that appeared a while ago.
There was some comments made about fuel stabilizers. Sta-bil "Blue" came highly recommended over the standard "red" formula.
Just a caution, Sta-bil (Marine) Blue is intended for regular use. It is not intended for long term storage. When I went looking for the blue stuff at the local autoparts store, something in the instruction caught my eye and bothered me, so I went to the Sta-bil website to confirm. Blue is for everyday use to combat ethanol, red is for long term storage.
Just in case anyone cares.

David, Sta-bil makes a marine grade formula that also combat's ethanol.
That is my choice.
