Assuming you know that most phone conversations that were done with analog gear were modified frequency-wise to no deleterious effect to the human ear.
Does that man that with digital gear they are not modifying anything?

I have only ever read forum posts from riders who used the freebie/cheap IOS and Android apps to set their belts not from any who said they had no issues long term.
