Ian,
I can find no reference for that number either, but the '91, '92 851 Bi and the '94 888 SPO used the 40240021A part number for the rev counter. Best I can do, at the present.
First of all apologies for the crossposting.
I have a speedo and a rev counter in my parts collection that I'm thinking
of clearing out. I suspect they came in with a job lot of 888 stuff but I
can't be sure if they are standard 888 and if they also are suitable for
other models.
There's no identifying marks on the rev counter and there's a sticker on the
speedo but it's very faded. It looks a bit like 16.27.112.786 but that isn't
recognised as a Ducati part number. There is a date I can read, 10/06/1994.
I'd appreciate any help ID'ing these parts.
