Hopper and Listers, Sorry you got the crud. Give me a call when you are well and we will hook up, 281-339-0711. I sold the Trident to a Harley Dealer in Ft Smith AR back in 1980 and know nothing of it since. It had the stock carbs on it. My ST 3 just rolled over 12,000 miles and the wrench light on the instrument panel is now flashing on and off. I had the belts and belt bearings replaced @ 2000 miles ago but the dealer didn't adjust the valves then and I don't feel brave enough to try it myself. Does anybody think this is why the wrench light is now flashing? The manual says it comes on to "signal the vehicle has covered the distance corresponding to a Scheduled Maintenance interval." The manual does not say what is Scheduled Maintenance for 12,000 miles. I called the servicing dealer and of course they said "bring it in and we will plug it in to the computer and see what the code says. Does the 2004 model have that feather? Anybody got any suggestions? Ride Hard and Safe, Greig Powell
