It's done this from time to time since I got her <mumble> years ago.
Strong battery, on charger, heavy gauge battery cables. So when she starts, it is with gusto.
But every once in a while she will crank but not start. Really annoying when heading out in the morning, and REALLY annoying when trying to head back.
I had her towed into the local dealer once, and they "fixed" it. Meaning they tightened the starter solenoid cable. . which couldn't have been the problem since it cranked happily. They also installed invisible elephant repellants, which seems to be working since I haven't seen any of them.
At the moment she is my my garage, sulking. I can either try to figure this out myself, or tow her into the shop and let them give it another try.
In either case, are there any recommendations on what to check and in what order? Or am I doomed to wander the wilderness for 40 years?
