Hey Guys,
Thanks for the info so far. Here is what is going on. My bike has been running great, but last Sunday I was out and noticed that my recharge light was not green and it was red. The bike was idling a little rough and it got worse as I rode it. I got back home and turned it off, and it did restart. I have to keep the idle high to keep it going or else it will just idle down and finally off? Any ideas or help would be great, The battery is good, and I do not seem to be having any other issues. Thanks again! Kevin

I have a '98 ST2.
With the 2 yellow leads disconnected from the stator, I saw:
- 24v @ 2k rpm
- 61v @ 4k
- 101v @ 6k
The regulator/rectifier takes it down to 13-14v.
Yellow to yellow resistance was 0.3 oms.
Yellow to ground should be infinite, as Bob said. Otherwise, there's a short; not good.
What problem are you having?
Phil
