I use the BluBridge transmitter. If you are successful in powering it from the bike, please let me know how you do it.
I get about 5 hours of use from it. I use it to connect to a BlueAnt communicator/intercomm.
I run the output from the GPS radar detector to a Belkin Rockstar. The BluBridge is also plugged in to the RockStar. Not a perfect system but it works.

All this radar detector talk has me thinking about audio options. I have always used etymotic earbuds plugged into an audio combiner (motocomm...not highly recommended by me however). But I got tired of being tethered to the bike.
So I just recently got a pair of Bluetooth dongles from Miccus...blubridge mini jack tx and ex, about $40 each at Amazon. They have built in batteries and recharge via USB. They are definitely loud enough and clear sounding. They are rated for 8 hours of operation on one charge, but I haven't used them enough to comment. I am planning to run the tx side from bike power, so I only am concerned about the rx battery life anyway. Will give a followup review after I get some more real world use data.
Regards,
Steve Gross
