I used to casually get my ST4 up to 148mph just to stretch her legs...that's all the clock would read. Now my 848 will clock 156 mph, not much difference but it feels better on the sportier model. I totaled the ST4 at 40 mph (T-Boned a cage) and yeah even then, stuff happens REAL FAST! Please always be aware fellas (and girlies) you never know when life will make you wish you had taken that left turn at Albuquerque. Your life can end so quick that you won't even realize it's game over. I was lucky and got back on another machine, to ride another day.

I miss the ST4 beyond belief. The ST model is such a perfect bike. If anyone is considering another bike, DON'T!
