On the scooter front I had decided to stream line my fleet down to the ones that matter...
Which meant I got rid of all the non Italian ones. The Buddy BlackJack, and the LML Stella 4T (which you rode last time). The Buddy was fun but crude compared to the Vespa GTS. The LML Stella was a piece of sh!t!! Seriously the thing started to fall apart, and judging by the group site, they all do that. So luckily I unloaded it while the going was still good. Learnt my lesson to buy a machine made in India..
Next off was the Piaggio MP3 500. Fun, but the novelty of the 2 wheels in front/on in back soon faded after I twisted the go stick in anger. Mild annoyance would be the more accurate response seeing how it had to move 550lbs (!!!!) with only about 40hp.
Leaving the Vespas - 250 GTS and PX 150. Those are keepers. But out of those two I prefer the slower, crankier but IMO more fun PX. It's just more fun to shift your own gears, while simultaneously providing mosquito abatement to the neighbourhood. The 250 just makes things too easy, which really goes against the whole Italian moto ethic...
Once my schedule opens up again, we can scoot about town.
