Re: [DucatiST] ST Angles wear rate.

Here's my report on the Angel ST. After running 2 sets I've found I only averaged around 4100 miles on the two rears.
This number with quite a bit of 2 up riding. I also found that when the tire squares in the rear it will not be long before it
cores. The "low" milage (I consider it low) could have to do with our roads which are generally have a bit rougher surface
finish than many roads in other areas.

I decided to replace the Angels with Michelin Pilot Road 2s this go round and so far I am quite pleased with the Michelins.

Subject: [DucatiST] ST Angles wear rate.

Hi there to you all, I thought I might send a heads-up about the great mileage I've got from my 180/55 ZR17, ST Angle rear tyre. 9664 kms or just under  6000 miles. I know they were expected to get 6750 miles at 120mph average speed, yikes, but I'm not on a race track so am pretty pleased. It squared off a fair bit due to the straight roads in this area, which changed the handling characteristics, but not excessively. So I've just put on another one, and whats more it was $35.00 cheaper than the previous one, from the same dealer. I know the bike runs as though on rails anyway but the tyres sure did their job.
  A happy player.
