I've always been real happy with the Bridgestones on my bikes. I've done the sporty to the sport tour and in general, I go with the sport tour rubber...BT-020 or what ever sequence they're in now. I get good grip and good mileage. The mileage that y'all are mentioning is unacceptable in my book, especially for a sport tour bike. The 'stones give me good traction and equal wear across the cross section of the tire. Of course where I live in the flat Gulf Coast plains of Texas, curves are as rare as chicken lips and the cops are as common as mosquitos.
