Re: [DucatiST] Tars

I installed the pp2 on and I rode from vancouver to Ouray and back and the are still in fair condition- as for the wet they were great -
Rode through the mountains in a massive rain storm and felt good at 80mph following old Willie - I admit I am a chicken in the rain and fear seeing the end round every corner - and the pp2's felt like I was riding on the dry for grip - good enough the I just purchased. Replacement PP2 for the WCM in June

HI Jack,
I wont go into why, cause its a long story, but I currently have Pilot Road 2 on the rear and a Pilot Road 3 on the front.  I have about 3,000 miles on them so far.  I went to WCM last year on them.  I really like them.  The last tire I had on were the Dunlop RoadSmarts, which were also had a good feel.  The rear only lasted about 6,000 miles, so I thought I would try the Pilot Roads.  So far the rear is wearing evenly and really looks good after 3,000 miles.  I have not done any wet riding so cannot comment about that, but I am impressed with them so far.  I think the new dual compound tires have really raised the standard from what it used to be.

I am planning a trip this fall and I'm wondering if anyone in the group can report on the Pilot Road 3 and the Pilot Road 2.

thanks
