RE: [DucatiST] 2004 ST3 pressure plate

Also on the screws, I use a moly paste anti-sieze on them. Some people use loctite but that can get you in trouble. The screws are hard enough to get out as it is, even just snugged up with moly on them and if you have a el cheapo allen wrench, or one that is worn, you can round out the inner hex of the allen screw...and then you are in trouble!

While I'm at it, I always moly up the top hat, inside and outside just in case to preclude something siezing up.

You can get moly paste from Suzuki but if you want to tube with a small nozzle on them for better control of how much you squeeze out, go to a sporting shop and get the moly paste for shotgun chokes. Comes in a nice plastic squeeze tube, 1 ounce if I remember correctly, with a small spout.

The only other advice I'd give is don't overtighten the screws when fitting
the new plate. If you're brutal with it you might snap of one of the posts
in the basket that the screws go into. No need to be paranoid, you just
don't have to crank them up to ridiculous levels.
