Through my own hamfistedness and a badly timed pothole I have broken the end
off the indicator switch on my 1995 Superlight V.
It is just like this one, right down to the broken tab:

Does anyone have any suggestions of effective repair techniques? As I see it
I have 3 options:
1. Replace the whole switchgear. I have later units but not one of these in
my parts stash.
2.Rreplace the indicator wiper/ tab within the broken switch. This depends
on finding a replacement and not losing all the springs and ball bearings
when I take it apart. :-)
3. Find a way to reliably attach a new tab to the existing broken part. In
theory this should be the most straightforward but given the size of the
components in question I'd be doubtful of making a reliable repair.
Any useful suggestions/ advice gratefully received...
Cheers
