RE: [DucatiST] Re: seat panel repair

Hi Mike

I have repaired one of my panels this way – happened within 2 years of getting my ST3s.

Bike is now 6 years old and done over 60,000 miles and the repair is still good.

Recently effected a similar repair on the tail light after the lugs holding the lens in place gave up!

Regards

Clive

Well `I'm afraid I didn't wait for all the replies to come in but thanks for your suggestions. I have ordered some JB weld so we'll see.....

BTW has anyone actually had this problem and effected a repair?? when it happened on the other side I replaced with a panel off Ebay, but I thought I'd have a go at repairing it this time.
