This was when Tom visited me (on a later tour than the one with the exploding Condor). The other guy is Gene Rankin who started the Bevelheads list.

 

I have one of Tom’s buckles and wear it nearly every day.

Hi Ian,

Do you know Tom Rolland?

He has a wonderful story of buying a Condor in the UK, slapping on his New Mexico (US) plates and riding down to Bolonga for the first Ducati Week a decade plus ago.

His belt buckles are great too.
