Trawling through the group messages on-line I found message 119185 from Paul Geller - it gives the re-program procedure for an 03 bike from the service manual. Not sure if that's the case with the later model, but it may help.

The speedo (dash) of the 2004 and later model ST4S is quiet different than the previous models. Immobilizer system (antenna included)is integrated in the full digital dashboard. Plugging a new dash need a special procedure with red key for coding the new dash. Unfortunately, this is not mensioned neither in owner's manual nor in service book.
Any other friend having an idea on this issue ?
