Jerry, if you read my post, you will find nothing bashing Shuberth or modular helmets. (other than SNELL not approving them) Just my opinion and a story that may or may not help someone else.
I acknowledged several times that the helmet should have been down. My thing is that the temptation is there when wearing one, as this is EXACTLY what they were meant to do; expose your face. Even if at a stop light in 100 degree heat, its dangerous to flip the helmet up.
To each their own, YMMV...
