I arrived in England on the 5th of December and house shopped. The family of the house I decided to buy invited me over for Christmas eve and meet all the neighborhood. Very memorable! I remember watching one of the English sitcoms that was popular at the time. Everyone was laughing their asses off and I had a blank stare on my face. I hadn't learned the subtleties of English humor and language yet but now thoroughly enjoy it.
