Funny, I have hand tightened with a t-handle for many years and never had an issue. It is a "feel" thing I admit, but it takes so little torque to secure them. I have collectively about 150k miles of riding/racing on dry clutch Ducs with numerous assembly/disassembly cycles. I'm about to install a slipper on my ST4 and I may live to regret it, but time will tell. Stay tuned. :-)
