Got a skate key, figure it out. Took maybe 15 minutes and no injuries incurred. Not too bad. And working with the rubber grommet/nuts is getting easier. Longer screws are helpful too. Any good place online to order extra screws, grommet nuts and nylon washers?

Spend a couple hours putting humpty dumpty back together again and, aside from missing a few of those dumbass rubber grommet/nut thingies, got humpty together ok. Great. So now I have a right mirror, not just left. A novel thing since I've only rode this bike wtih a left so far. So wifey and I went out for an evening ride/burger...nice. Spring is finally springing here in NY and we had a nice ride along the reservoirs in both directions. Park the bike in the garage, evidently a little too close to the Harley and as I walk between the 2 to get to the house door....snap.....mirror breaks off, hits the ground. Doh!!! <insert George Carlin's 7 dirty words>.

The genius design here is right up there with the rubber grommet/nuts but hey, I'm new here, who am I to judge. <insert more George Carlin 7 dirty words>.
