I have a Fieldsheer Perforated leather jacket. Cools pretty good except at stop lights. :)
I crashed in it, with no rash nor upper body discomfort. It was a deer assisted high side a 70mph.
I witnessed a friend crash at a much slower rate, parking lot wheelie, and he busted two ribs and dislocated
his shoulder. He was wearing a textile jacket with armor but even before the crash I remember thinking, that's
a flimsy jacket.
I just found a great deal on a Dianese Zen perforated leather jacket. I really like it and hope I will not
be giving a crash test result on it....
I say, get a leather perforated jacket. There is nothing to equal the protection of leather. I don't give a cat nor a rat's ass what
anyone else thinks. ;)

It will soon be hotter than hell in Texas and my old Vanson textile jacket is showing its age.
Does anyone care to recommend your favorite hot weather jacket?
