Re: [DucatiST] Steering Head Bearing Replacement

Thanks Jack,

I think I'll go with All Balls Racing.
I followed the link  to MotoWheels and asked them what country their bearings were manufactured. Their response was " Proprietary Information ". My thought is if they can't answer a simple question like that, what else are they keeping a secret? Sorry, but not buying from MotoWheels.
As far as I can tell, those are the only two choices available for my ST2.

Take Care,

Marty

All Balls  http://www.allballsracing.com/  is your friend here.  I've bought many sets from them and believe they have what you want.  They're in at least three of my bikes and have lasted years.

Hi Richard,

I'm in the market for the tapered steering head bearing too. Which ones did you buy and where did you get them?

Thanks

I just ordered a the replacement tapered steering head bearings, and the steering stem nut removal tool, but from what I read I will also need some special tools (homemade if necessary) to remove the upper and lower bearing races.
Does anyone have these that I could borrow? I live in the Atlanta area, but I would be fine with shipping both ways as well.

Thanks,
