I don't think the question is who would follow, but rather who would be lost by not following. I'm comfortably connected digitally and would probably link up with your FB option, but likely I wouldn't post there just as I don't on other FB sites--and, as of late, our group here. Our group is small, fractured by geography, politics, (getting too damn old), and not to mention by makes, models, and towel girls who are now nearly grandmas themselves!
Before endorsing a FB page I'd say let's lift the no-attachment/image rule making it easier for us to communicate via images in our old email-based domain.
Some of our elder statesmen are rather set in their ways, and I'm guessing that this foray into the modern world might leave them out riding their Ducs all alone instead of reading our FB trivia.
Although your suggestion is marvelous, I vote that our self-imposed friction is part of what binds us together and keeps us talking to one another across our various great divides--I do, however, publicly vote that we allow email attachments be allowed immediately.
