[DucatiST] Not a Ducati engine, but an interesting design

Since many of you are gear heads, desmo that is, I though you might appreciate this video of an unusual engine.

 

I think I saw this design on an old motorcycle (which is mentioned in the video) and an old WW 1 Biplane.
