well, I am fully prepared to be corrected, electricity and myself have always had an antagonistic relationship, BUT are the fuel pump and the ignition actuated by the same relay? Looking at the manual and the Derek Blackie wiring diagram I can't tell. If they are, then the relay is obviously a possibility. However since this fault occurred on my bike I have stopped using the kill switch and the fault has never re-occurred. As the relay will be actuated every time I switch on the ignition, it still seems to me that the switch is the primary suspect.
Or am I missing something??
