The stator MUST be disconnected from the R/R to perform this test. If after you disconnect, it still shows a reading of .4 ohm on your meter, then it is shorted to the core and must be replaced as well.

I checked the ohms at a setting of "200" on my digital multi-meter:
I got .4 between the 2 yellow wires
Using the same setting, from the yellow wires to the ground, I got .4 ohms.

I'm no Tesla, obviuosly, but is that reasonable?
I simply trying to find out if there is a problem with the stator before I drop another R/R in there.
