That's what I was thinking. I've swapped wheels a lot, ST's Monsters, 888, 900SP, all the same hub width with only bearing changes needed between various years 17-20mm rear and 20-25mm fronts. Hell, across the entire Ducati line the even the single sided swing-arm rear wheels are interchangeable with the sole exception of the new 1098/1198. It isn't the width of he swingarm that's important other than allowances for tire width.
