Just to clarify, when i placed the new rear wheel into the swingarm i noticed it had gaps between the componants, and before i did up the axle nuts soon realised the NORMAL few threads which usually reside each side would be a few more, perhaps some dont see a problem with this,and maybe there isnt as i guess the swingarm would just squash in the 2mm each side,OR maybe it would deform and place a load where there shouldnt be one.
So there is a chance this hasnt been noticed when its been done before,(it surely must have with a now 10 year old bike) as im sure there is enough thread on the axle to pull in that little bit more.
