Took me half a day to work it out.The only way I could make it work was to pack out the front mount to raise it 5mm or so, otherwise nothing was gonna line up. As time goes on and I have used the system a few times, it has sort of worn itself in but it is nowhere near as easy to use as I had anticipated and should probably have dzus underneath the fairing lower to make up for the difficulty removing the upper!
What is this Bob Brown clutch of which you speak?
I used to go down to Kensington with my Pantah before I learnt to do the work myself. Used to try to hit him up for info, he didn't like that very much and I feel kinda bad about it considering how much he's been screwed over for his ideas.
