Silly as in far too little for the bike. I could buy a '99 916 ST4 for little more the price of my recent '97 M750 Monster that cost GBP1800. OK, it would depend on condition and mileage but, with MCN having the cheek to describe them as commuter bikes(!!), it seems no-one wants them. If I had space and funds, I'd buy a spare for parts, should my much-loved machine ever need them...
