Fw: [DucatiST] Re: DD Headlight question

Thanx for the kind words, Jack.

Its not just Ducati. My BMW is not much better, but at least the wire runs are short.

I was working on a friend's Volvo XC70 a while back. The headlights were incredibly dim. Turns out they used 20 gauge wire for the lights, and the voltage drop was over 1.5V at the bulbs. That equates to about a 30% drop in luminous energy with halogen bulbs, and can lead to early bulb failure, too. All for a dime's worth of wire.
