If it`s draining batteries, try this. With ignition OFF, disconnect the negative terminal and connect a multimeter set to amps in series between the negative terminal and the cables. Is there a draw? If so, start pulling fuses until you notice a drop in the draw. That will tell you which circuit the draw is in. If nothing else it`ll help narrow the search.

I'm not the first to do this but a zip tie around those 2 wires to the solenoid will solve the loosening connection problem. Learned that lesson a long time ago!
