[DucatiST] Re: Can someone throw me a bone here

Fariborz,
My ST4s sat for two years because of this problem, intermittant no starting. Since I have other bikes it took me a while to get motivated to work on the bike that let me down several times. I lurked in all the forums and finally decided thet the cps must be the issue. I pulled it off and noticed that there were two spacers, and they were a bit coroded and had swelled slightly. I decided to chance it and took one out and reinstalled the CPS with just one spacer. Since that time my bike has never failed to start. I now love my ST4s again. I ride it almost daily and it's been much more fun than my VFR or ST2.
Good luck, YMMV

During the last ride, few weeks back, I stopped at Alice's to get a drink and when I came out, the bike would not start. It would crank but nothing else was happening. Tried few times and no go.

Got home and thought to myself, it acted liked the fuel filter was dirty or one of the relays (main or ignition) was bad.
