Thanks for the confidence building. Yes, the shock and the forks will get rebuilt before being installed. Judging by the oil on the fork legs, the seals are shot anyway. A set of seal savers will be installed while everything is apart. There is a local guy here that services Olins.

BTW, I got the mounting bracket for the preload adjuster when I got the shock.

Yes, it will all fit and nicely so.

Take the time to install new bearings and seals while you have it all disassembled.

I picked up the forks, shock and aluminium swing arm off of a 2002 ST4S to replace the stock components on my 2002 ST2. I assume that this is a direct swap, at least I am hoping that this is the case.

 

Can anyone confirm if this is a straight bolt on?
